Avoidance is good.

I showed up to pick Aria up from preschool today and ran into a full show-and-tell scene involving Aria's classmate's new baby brother. He was born 2 days after Spencer's original due date and is named Sterling Nickel. I kid you not. I avoided the scene like a plague. I really wanted to go up to the mom and congratulate her and her new baby but ,damn, I physically couldn't do it. I walked around the whole scene taking place near the front door. I started having a mini anxiety attack and my jealousy set in. God, I suck. I thought I was getting better.

We also planted a Heavenly Bamboo in the backyard on the day that was suppose to be Spencer's due date. Funny how the name of the plant is so appropriate.
